Mysuru Dasara, a festival steeped in history and vibrant traditions, is gearing up for its 2025 celebration, promising an unforgettable cultural experience. Known as the “Naada Habba” (State Festival), this 11-day spectacle transforms the city of Mysuru into a kaleidoscope of art, music, and heritage.
The heart of the festivities lies in two main venues: the majestic Mysuru Palace and the bustling Volcanic Tripurasundari Temple for the dynamic “Yuva Dussehra” events. Visitors can immerse themselves in a diverse range of performances, from classical music and dance to modern fusion and popular Bollywood nights.
The cultural programs at Mysuru Palace are a showcase of traditional arts. The lineup includes a magnificent “Violin Trio” by Dr. Mysore Manjunath and team, a beautiful “Sitar playing” performance by Dr. Mohsin Khan, and a mesmerizing “Shiva Tandava” dance by Mr. Sridhar Jain. Music enthusiasts can also look forward to “The glory of folk singing” by Ms. Ananya Bhat, “Carnatic fusion instrumental music,” and a special “Musical journey” with the renowned Mr. Vijay Prakash.
Meanwhile, “Yuva Dussehra” offers a more contemporary flavor with free admission concerts at the Volcanic Tripurasundari Temple.
